The First Chapter Begins in ‘Classic Alice: Book One’

Kate Hackett Prod and AntiKaiser release the first episode of ‘Classic Alice’ online, joining transmedia elements and behind-the-scenes interviews already in place.

BURBANK (March 4, 2014) — Following several weeks of behind-the-scenes video content and in-world transmedia elements, Kate Hackett Productions and AntiKaiser released the premiere episode of ‘Classic Alice: Book One’ earlier today. The episode, titled “Down the Rabbit Hole”, introduces audiences to title character Alice Rackham (played by series creator Kate Hackett) and her friend Andrew Prichard (Tony Noto), the documentary student that films Alice’s experiment to live life according to classic literature.

The episode is available for free through the show YouTube channel (http://youtube.com/ClassicAliceSeries) or the show’s official website (http://classic-alice.com). New episodes will be released every Tuesday at 9:00 AM PT through April 8th. The first season—referred internally as a ‘book’—is comprised of six episodes.

Additional narrative content will also continue to be released via the character social media accounts. Links to each platform are listed on the official website, along with conversation archives.

‘Classic Alice’ is a vlog-style webseries set at the fictitious New England college, Valeton University. The story centers around title character, Alice, who decides to film a documentary about living life according to classic literature after receiving a bad grade on an essay.
