“Dr. von Kaiser” Pilot Script Selected as Slamdance Semifinalist

Script in top 4% of the Slamdance Teleplay Competition

SAN DIEGO (November 5, 2007) — Representatives from Slamdance announced the semifinalist entries in the Slamdance Teleplay Competition on Friday, November 3rd. Among those selected was the 24 page pilot script for AntiKaiser Productions’ animated series concept, “Dr. von Kaiser”.

“We received over 500 submissions this year, and ultimately, less than 4% will be recognized as finalists,” said John Stoddard, Teleplay Competition Director for Slamdance.

The half-hour teleplay is entitled “Dr. von Kaiser and the Jade Laser of Doom” and was penned by John M. Osborne from a story by Aaron Matthew Kaiser and Michael Callahan. It introduces most of the show’s main characters and sets the theme for the rest of the series.

This announcement comes on the heels of AntiKaiser Productions’ win, announced on Friday, October 12th, in the Christine Evans Dailymotion Video Contest. In this competition, Aaron Matthew Kaiser directed and produced a music video for the song “Give It Up” in which actress Priscila Netto played the part of Christine Evans. The music video was filmed entirely at Brilliant Screen Studios in El Cajon and was shot in hi-definition.
